REST DAY

It was a relaxing day for us today, timed perfectly with the weather, and the feeling in my legs.

Mark and I had a quiet morning, went out for breakfast, then coffee, and just roamed about the city for a while. Nothing overly exciting, but it was great to just chill and enjoy each other's company for a bit.

After lunch, we went for a very easy spin in the rain.

I got to spend the afternoon with my adopted sister in CA, Amanda. Starting with yoga upstairs, and followed by a good gym session.

Who's kidding who, Amanda worked out, while I stretched. We did some core work together though. Always more motivating to hit the gym with someone else.

Mark spent the afternoon planning the longest, toughest routes he can find for the rest of the week. Looks like we might be hitting up Palomar again tomorrow. Mark is bound and determined to get his name up on the Strava leaderboard. With all of the good home-cooking by CA mom Shari, I'm sure he will crush it!

Alright, I'm going to go chill with the cats and finish off this rest day with a little more relaxing before we hit the roads early tomorrow morning.
